As salaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullah all,


I started this thread after receiving and email with a hadith that was verified. It sounded very beautiful but alas... I do not know if it's true.


So here's what we'll do.... Someone will come and post a hadith that they want verified and give the opportunity to us all to look it up and post the reference here... on this thread....


I'll also be pinning this topic for easier access...


Just a single rule... Whenever we reply to a hadith to be verified. Please quote the reference exactly to it e.g. "Sahih Muslim # 200" or something like that... If possible maybe you can copy and paste the ENTIRE text of the hadith in your post...


so here goes... the first hadith:

If a person makes Du ' a for Jannat three times, Jannat requests Allah that O, Allah; make his entry into Jannat.
And if a person makes Du ' a for safety from Jahannum three times, The Jahannnum requests Allah that, O, Allah; save him from Jahannum.
