Allah swt know best Alone. wassalam... Writing Ayah.. - Suhail - 03-27-2004 yes i do it is one of the books required for my study Writing Ayah.. - Amatullah - 03-27-2004 You only say <b>basmalah</b> when you are reciting from begining of a surah except surat at-Tawba (surah 9). But if you are reciting an ayah from middle of a surah you don't say basmalah, you just say <i>isti'atha </i> (saying = a'uthu billahi-mena- sh-Shaytan-ir-Rajeem) For Allah said (translation of the meaning): "So when you want to recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from Shaitan (Satan), the outcast (the cursed one). " (16:98) |
