She wrote it in an e-mail and sent it to all Muslims we know here in the US. She wanted to remind them who they r and to make them realize what they are doing to reflects on other people who r non-muslims. We dont ever stop to think But throw away good food, Making our eyes bigger than our stomach Saying 'were not in the right mood. We don't make a single dua'a Just to lift our hands to pray, But sit in front of the T.V. Every-night and every-day. We dont bother to read the Qura'an Saying ' I dont have time for that,' 'I've got better things to do,' 'Like go to the cinema or chat!' 'Who cares to give Zakaah' we debate, 'Others will look after the poor,' 'I'd rather go to America, 'The Statue of Liberty is worth looking at!' STOP AND THINK RIGHT NOW!!! If there's anything in the literary department that I simply cannot handle, it is poetry. However, that poem struck me in multiple ways, dynamically. It just sinks down and grits out what I (among others) have been trying to utter for some time now.
