(AP) - Three bombs exploded at a neighborhood celebration Thursday in western Baghdad, killing 35 children and seven adults, officials said. Hours earlier, a suicide car bomb killed a U.S. soldier and two Iraqis on the capital's outskirts. The bombs in Baghdad's al-Amel neighborhood caused the largest death toll of children in any insurgent attack since the conflict in Iraq began 17 months ago. The children, who were still on school vacation, said they had been drawn to the scene by American soldiers handing out candy.

Where is the anger over this? Even if you don't agree with the Americans being in Iraq, and I don't, will these same people seek out the people who did this as hard as they are trying to kill Americans?

I just can't believe someone would do this to their own in the name of God.

Again, I'm not saying this is all of Islam or this is the way all Muslims think. Please don't think that or read that from this.

I'm just wondering why no one seems to ever blame the people who actually do it?

Baghdad Bombings Kill 35 Children - Deen - 09-30-2004

That's because we do not trust the media as it is a tool for propoganda.

How are you so sure it wasn't the US who did it as revenge or to defame the insurgents? Ask the Iraqi's they will blame the US and they are people who are living there!

Read this below which might shed some light on how Machiavellian politics works!!

Sudan Says U.S. Armed Darfur Rebels

CAIRO (Reuters) - The United States helped train and arm rebels from west Sudan who rose up against the Sudanese government last year, Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir said in remarks published on Thursday. "Who else than the United States is behind this ... They took rebels to Eritrea, and set up training camps for them, spent money on them, armed them and gave them Thuraya mobiles (telephones) to speak between anywhere in the world," Bashir told Egypt's Al-Ahram daily when asked about the involvement of foreign powers in Darfur.

The U.S. embassy in Khartoum declined to comment on the report.

The Sudanese government has in the past accused Eritrea of arming Darfur rebels who launched their revolt against Khartoum in February 2003, after years of low-level clashes between Arab nomads and non-Arab farmers over scarce resources.

Bashir said the conflict had several causes such as tribal disputes and other local factors.

The United States has labeled the violence in Darfur genocide, holding responsible the Sudanese government and Arab Janjaweed militia, which Khartoum has been accused of arming.

Khartoum has dismissed charges of genocide and says it does not support the Janjaweed, branding them outlaws.

Sudanese officials have previously said the United States has exploited the Darfur crisis to further its own political agenda in the region and to exploit the country's oil and other resources. Sudan produces up to 320,000 barrels a day of crude.

"Eritrea ... was the land used, but the training, spending and planning was paid for by foreign powers, at the head of them the United States, represented in its agencies," Bashir told the semi-official Egyptian daily in the interview in Khartoum.

He said encouragement came from U.S. pressure groups, such as right-wing Christians. Bashir said he had evidence and documents to support his charges, but he did not give details.

"There are many ways to resolve it, and the ways are known internationally, but those who lit the fire don't want to put it out," he said.

The U.N. Security Council has threatened Sudan with possible sanctions if it fails to stop the violence in Darfur. A cease-fire between the government and rebels agreed in Chad in April has proved shaky.

Baghdad Bombings Kill 35 Children - Megadeth - 10-01-2004

That's the best you can do? Blame the media, blame the U.S., blame someone just don't blame a Muslim! That really is the way you think isn't it?

You're amazing Deen. That someone has brainwashed you to the point that when 30 children get killed you just say. "Media! The media is lying!" The US did it to make us look bad".

I've got news for you Deen. We don't need to kill 30 kids to give Muslims a bad name. Those freaks cutting of heads are doing just fine on their own.

I like the second part of your rebuttal. The way you go to an entirely different topic. Nice diversion Deen. Sudanese officials said something so it must be true! I'm not even saying your wrong or right because I haven't studied that topic enough to form an opinion. I do know 30 kids are dead Deen and you couldn't care less.

It's the Muslim world telling all these lies with these fake video's of houses being torn down in Israel. The Jews aren't really doing this it's just propoganda by the Arba media right Deen?

When I see what these Jews are doing to these Palestinians I should just assume its not true because the media told me. Isn't that right Deen?

You are right not to always trust the media. You're wrong to always assume it's wrong. You have to be able to think on your own. Someone has obviously taken that ability away from you.

Baghdad Bombings Kill 35 Children - revelation - 10-02-2004

I think as Muslims, we shld not just blame the media or others. You are right Megadeth, Muslims who kill/miamed/murder/blew up other muslims are condemned by God. Suicide bombers will never go to paradize. Not the 11 that crashed the airplane into the twin towers on Sept. 11. Not those who killed over 100 kids in Beslan. Not the one who killed and injured scores of people in Jakarta/

These criminals will burn in hell. They are not "syahid", They are devils in disguise as muslims and giving Islam a bad image.

Baghdad Bombings Kill 35 Children - Megadeth - 10-04-2004

Revelation, you brought up hell. What does Islam teach in regards to who goes to hell? I've never heard a lot of talk about this topic. I hear a lot more about paradise because of the reasons that you mentioned, but I've never heard anything about Hell. I'd like to know more of the philosophy on that topic from you or anyone.

What are you trying to say? Do you know how many innocent civilians get hit by these types of strikes, or does it make you happy?

Taking away water, electricity, power supply.. these types of bombings when perpetrated by the American side do more destruction. But do you agree with the use of candy to lure children in to be human shields? That's what I want to know.
