Muhammad ,the man whom we love - Rock - 01-22-2006 Bismillah Alsalamu alykom Prophet Muhammad: The Leader and the educator let us start a new thread remembering the greatness of this man, remembering his Mercy and Compassion,Honesty and Trustworthiness,Generosity,Patience,Forgiveness, Hospitality,Simplicity,Modesty,Fulfilment of Promises.... May we give him a little bit of his rights. I will start Muhammed mercy Muhammed(pbuh)said: It happens that I start the prayer intending to prolong it,but on hearing the cries of a child,I shorten the prayer because I know that the cries of the child will incite its mother`s passions. Sahih Al-Bukhari <iframe data-embedcontent="" frameborder="0" src="<___base_url___>/topic/3875-you-want-to-know-about-mohamed-salla-allah-alyhee-wa-sallam/?do=embed"></iframe> Muhammad ,the man whom we love - radiyah - 01-31-2006 Bismillah Jazzak Allah khayr brother Rock for bringing this topic, we really need it to show all those who mock us for loving him so much why we LOVE him,  . He is The Seal of Prophets, Allah (SWT) described him as being: Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem: And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on an exalted standard of character. (Al-Qalam 68:4) So I thought that we should start from the very begining, his noble descendant, I found a tree for his descendeant which will be clear for all. May peace and blessings be on all the Messengers of Allah. Prophet Muhammad is a direct descendant of Isma'il, the first son of Prophet Ibrahim(Abraham). Prophet Muhammad was born in Makkah as a fullfilment of the prayer of Abraham as explained in the following verses of the Holy Quran, a book of revelations from Allah to the Prophet. Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem: 127: And (remember) when Ibrâhim (Abraham) and (his son) Ismâ'il (Ishmael) were raising the foundations of the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah), (saying), "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower." 128: "Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manâsik (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage - Hajj and 'Umrah, etc.), and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. The above is the prayer of our father Abraham came true, and no one can deny the descendant of Prophet Muhammad to father Abraham.(PBUT) The family tree below: From www.muhammad.net So first he is from a noble descendent. Second father Abraham asked Allah(SWT) that there will be a prophet sent from amongst those people of tribe that lived in that spot, Mecca: Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem: 129:"Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own (and indeed Allâh answered their invocation by sending Muhammad Peace be upon him ), who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book (this Qur'ân) and Al-Hikmah (full knowledge of the Islâmic laws and jurisprudence or wisdom or Prophethood, etc.), and sanctify them. Verily! You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise." 2, (Al-Baqarah ) Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem: Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from amongst yourselves (i.e. whom you know well). It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He (Muhammad SAW) is anxious over you (to be rightly guided, to repent to Allâh, and beg Him to pardon and forgive your sins, in order that you may enter Paradise and be saved from the punishment of the Hell-fire), for the believers (he SAW is) full of pity, kind, and merciful. (At-Tawbah 9:128) The underlined why, that is an assurance from Allah, that He sent The Prophet from amongst u Quraysh, he is your son, your kin, u know him, he is the truthful, honest, trustworthy, he is the one with the highest morals, that no one human being ever possessed. Such morals and descendant, how can any one call him a liar or disrespect him, unless out of envy and stubborness. Above a begining of who our Beloved Prophet Muhammad is, any of those who try to show him as racial, or barbaric or, child molester, all this can be answered back by will of Allah(SWT), and if they are not convinced and still stubborn to attack him, it is their choicce, and we will ask Allah(SWT) to deal with them as He dealt with the shah of persia who tore the message of prophet Muhammad, and then our prophet(PBUH) asked Allah(SWT) to tear his kingdom, and it was torn from the one nearest to him. May Allah(SWT) Be our Aid and Guide to what He Loves and Pleases, and Use us as His servants and defendants of our loved prophet(PBUH). Ameeeeeeeeeeeen Muhammad ,the man whom we love - Muslimah - 01-31-2006 Bismillah Rock, may Allah Forgive your sins, expand and illuminate your grave He never prostrated to an idole, he hated idols like nothing else. When he was with his uncle Abu Talen on a trade trip, they met the monk Baheera who invited them because he was able to identify Mohamed's salla Allah a`lyhee wa sallam signs of Prophethood, he asked him how do your feel about laat wal o`za (two major idols). He said I dont hate anything more than them and I never prostrated to them. Bismillah sorry if I will jump from one stage to another i know it is better to walk thru this in order but forgive me. Even the non believers called him the truth sayer and the trustworthy. When Khadija employed him for her trade, after coming back she inquired from her slave Maysara how come they made such an enormous amount of profit? he told her when people found out that Mohamed the truth sayer and trustworthy is handling the deals, they just bought without any hesitation. Plus Allah Called him in Quran as: "68:4 'And verily, you (O Muhammad) are on an exalted standard of character." Matter of fact, if i want to translate the underlined part of the Ayah: I would say; you enjoy a high level of ethics, moral and manners. salla Allah a`lyhee wa sallam Muhammad ,the man whom we love - Muslimah - 02-02-2006 Bismillah as salam alykom How come this thread is not going on..? Muhammad ,the man whom we love - Rock - 02-02-2006 Bismillah assalamu alykom The manners of the war as our beloved prophet(pbuh)mentioned : "Do not kill babies, do not kill women, do not kill children, do not kill a vulnerable old man, do not cut down trees, do not destroy houses, you will find priests praying in hermitages, do not approach them. And don’t strike them at night, only in the day so as not to scare the women and children." Muhammad ,the man whom we love - Rock - 02-03-2006 Bismillah assalamu alykom Our beloved prophet said: "He is not a perfect believer, who goes to bed full and knows that his neighbor is hungry." Muhammad ,the man whom we love - Rock - 02-04-2006 Bismillah assalamu alykom Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, "Facilitate things to people , and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away ." Muhammad ,the man whom we love - radiyah - 02-04-2006 Bismillah <i>An excerpt from the book entitled "The Message of Mohammad," by Athar Husain</i> His Appearance(PBUH) Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was of a height a little above the average. He was of sturdy build with long muscular limbs and tapering fingers. The hair of his head was long and thick with some waves in them. His forehead was large and prominent, his eyelashes were long and thick, his nose was sloping, his mouth was somewhat large and his teeth were well set. His cheeks were spare and he had a pleasant smile. His eyes were large and black with a touch of brown. His beard was thick and at the time of his death, he had seventeen grey hairs in it. He had a thin line of fine hair over his neck and chest. He was fair of complexion and altogether was so handsome that Abu Bakr composed this couplet about him: "As there is no darkness in the moonlit night so is Mustafa, the well-wisher, bright." His gait was firm and he walked so fast that others found it difficult to keep pace with him. His face was genial but at times, when he was deep in thought, there there were long periods of silence, yet he always kept himself busy with something. He did not speak unnecessarily and what he said was always to the point and without any padding. At times he would make his meaning clear by slowly repeating what he had said. His laugh was mostly a smile. He kept his feelings under firm control - when annoyed, he would turn aside or keep silent, when pleased he would lower his eyes [Tirmidhi]. His Dress His dress generally consisted of a shirt, tamad (trousers), a sheet thrown round the shoulders and a turban. On rare occasions, he would put on costly robes presented to him by foreign emissaries in the later part of his life. [Ahmed, Musnad, Hafiz Bin Qayyim] His blanket had several patches. [Tirmidhi] He had very few spare clothes, but he kept them spotlessly clean. [bukhari] He wanted others also to put on simple but clean clothes. Once he saw a person putting on dirty clothes and remarked, "Why can't this man wash them." [Abu Dawood] On another occasion he enquired of a person in dirty clothes whether he had any income. Upon getting a reply in the affirmative, he observed, "When Allah has blessed you with His bounty, your appearance should reflect it." [Abu Dawood] He used to observe: "Cleanliness is piety." Mode of living His house was but a hut with walls of unbaked clay and a thatched roof of palm leaves covered by camel skin. He had separate apartments for his wives, a small room for each made of similar materials. His own apartment contained a rope cot, a pillow stuffed with palm leaves , the skin of some animal spread on the floor and a water bag of leather and some weapons. These were all his earthly belongings, besides a camel, a horse, and an ass and some land which he had acquired in the later part of his life. [bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood] Once a few of his disciples, noticing the imprint of his mattress on his body, wished to give him a softer bed but he politely declined the offer saying, "What have I to do with worldly things. My connection with the world is like that of a traveller resting for a while underneath the shade of a tree and then moving on." Amr Ibn Al-Harith, a brother-in-law of the Prophet (pbuh), says that when the Prophet died, he did not leave a cent, a slave man or woman, or any property except his white mule, his weapons and a piece of land which he had dedicated for the good of the community. [sahih Bukhari] He advised the people to live simple lives and himself practised great austerities. Even when he had become the virtual king of Arabia, he lived an austere life bordering on privation. His wife A'isha (ra) says that there was hardly a day in his life when he had two square meals. [sahih Muslim] When he died there was nothing in his house except a few seeds of barley left from a mound of the grain obtained from a Jew by pawning his armour. [sahih Bukhari] He had declared unlawful for himself and his family anything given by the people by way of Zakat or sadaqa (types of charity). He was so particular about this that he would not appoint any member of his family as a Zakat collector. [sahah-Kitab Sadqat] insha'Allah will come with more Salam Muhammad ,the man whom we love - Muslimah - 02-04-2006 Bismillah He enjoyed excellent manners as Allah Described him in Quran which was apparent since his childhood. When he was living with his uncle Abu Taleb, sitting to eat with the family, he never extended his hand first to food. He always waited for people to eat first then kindly and politely he would extend his hand for food. Muhammad ,the man whom we love - Muslimah - 02-04-2006 Bismillah Whenever anyone presented a case to him and there were two choices, he would always suggest the easier to the questioner. |
