My dear brother naseeha asked me to dig some info and pics about the pharoa who followed Prophet Mussa prayer and peace be upon him towards the Red Sea and Allah made him drown as in Quran.
Mistakenly I gave him a wrong name as being Ramses, whereas he was Merneptah:

An outstanding scientist, he was selected to treat the mummy of Merneptah (Pharaoh) which he did. During his visit to Saudi Arabia he was shown the verses of the Qur'an in which God says that the dead body of the Pharaoh will be preserved as a "Sign" for posterity. An impartial scientist like Dr. Bucaille, who (being also a Christian) was conversant with the Biblical version of Pharaoh's story as being drowned in pursuit of Prophet Moses. He was pleasantly surprised to learn that unknown to the world till only of late, the Qur'an made definite prediction about the preservation of the body of that same Pharaoh of Moses' time. This led Dr. Bucaille to study the Qur'an thoroughly after learning the Arabic language. The final conclusion of his comparative study of Qur'an and the Bible is that the statements about scientific phenomena in the Qur'an are perfectly in conformity with the modern sciences whereas the Biblical narration's on the same subjects do not stand up to scientific scrutiny.

I have a comment that is not related to the pics, but to the person himself.
I was reciting Quran the other day and discussed this observation with someone.
Imagine him saying:
"Pharaoh said: "O chiefs! I know not that you have an ilah (a god) other than me, so kindle for me (a fire), O Haman, to bake (bricks out of) clay, and set up for me a Sarhan (a lofty tower, or palace, etc.) in order that I may look at (or look for) the Ilah (God) of Moses; and verily, I think that he [Moses] is one of the liars." (Quran 28:38)
Can u imagine someone saying this? I mean didnt he think what was the situation before he was born? i wonder, did he believe this himself that he is the only god? I m just surprised as how he thought of himself.
What did he think when the sea was split apart with both sides high making a road in between for Mussa and his people to corss? didnt he think who made this? was it him?
Ok, surely he realized it wasnt him, but how did he decide to cross after them, did he believe at this point that he is god and can make this road continue?

In those days it was believed that every Pharoh was an incarnate God. They were all worshiped as "god-man" on earth. sound familiar?

i know what u mean shaunee, what i m actually referring to, is that does he believe himself? this is what i call stupid.
And by the way shaunee, among the congress during the Roman time, which determined the entity of Jesus, there was an Egyptian former Pharonic monk, does this ring any bell??????
