For those who want to learn more about Shia - Muslimah - 10-11-2007 Bismillah as salam alykom brothers and sisters We found, for the purpose of balancing, to dedicate this thread for resources presenting the true shia belief in order to allow better information. Certainly Karbala is welcomed to surf them at his own pace and see if he agrees/disagrees with them... Ahlel Bayt http://www.ahlelbayt.com The Truth http://thetruth.hypermart.net Hosain league http://www.ansar.org http://www.muslimworld.co.uk/refutations/sheeah.html http://www.islamicweb.com/beliefs/cults/sources_of_shia.htm http://www.islamicweb.com/beliefs/cults/shia.htm http://www.allaahuakbar.net/shiites/exposi...ite_beliefs.htm For those who want to learn more about Shia - Karbala - 10-13-2007 Hmmmm... Interesting project. Muslimah all the sites you have posted are extremely biased. I am aware of most of them. http://www.ahlelbayt.com is actually a good website and the articles are pretty comprehensive but flawed. Id give it 6/10. http://www.ansar.org This website is pretty bad and there is a counterwebsite called www.answering-ansar.org 3/10. http://www.muslimworld.co.uk/refutations/sheeah.html Extremely bad I dont even need to criticize this site. 1/10 http://www.islamicweb.com/beliefs/cults/sources_of_shia.htm and http://www.islamicweb.com/beliefs/cults/shia.htm are OK websites with superficially good looking articles. However the research is very misleading and at times just plain wrong. Nevertheless some interesting arguments. 4/10 http://www.allaahuakbar.net/shiites/exposi...ite_beliefs.htm This is the worst website of all. It is just plain stupid and even dangerous. 0/10 For those who want to learn more about Shia - SisterJennifer - 10-13-2007 asalaamu alikum brother Karbala, I just want to say that I really am interested in the 'ask a shia' thread, and I am glad you started it. I really think it is the most interesting on the forum. Sometimes I feel like you get bombarded with so many questions and requests for informaion, that I feel it is alot for only one person to handle so much at once. Maybe there are some informaional sites you know of to be good ones? Thanks and eid mubarak! :) For those who want to learn more about Shia - Muslimah - 10-13-2007 Bismillah as salam alykom Karbala, actually this thread wasnt my idea, thus, I m not aiming at any project. I m that frank. This was made upon the request of Hassan - co admin - he didnt have time to post it. In respect to his wish, since this is a public forum I started it. But come to think about it, I concur with Jennifer, I m really interested to continue talking on a one to one basis. I mean what we are doing, because Alhamdulelah, you, Hajdi and me are not into fighting, loud voices and screaming, but we rather tend to converse reasonably and using our own minds. My aim is never, not with u, not with anyone else, to win a debate. Thus, I will let u read this post, then I think I will put this thread into invisible, because I feel it is better to do so. I can admit a mistake when I make one, that is no problem. :) For those who want to learn more about Shia - Muslimah - 10-13-2007 Bismillah Karbala, let me know u did read this post pls. For those who want to learn more about Shia - Karbala - 10-14-2007 Yes I have read your post. I can provide some pro-Shia websites for people to look through if they wish. I just want people to be aware of the bias when they click on a website. |
