We Arabs need Practise What we Preach when it come to Islam, now a American Muslim that have been living in Kuwait by name AbdulAziz have decide return to his family an church in United States after living in Kuwait. I have learn this brother faith in Islam started to decrease after looking at actions Kuwaiti's an Saudi's when it come Quran an Hadith. Its very sad for Kuwaiti, Saudi, GCC' citizen's that we don't Practise what we preach when come Islam. We talk how people in West in America don't understand Islam now sin on us. I'am very sad to be Saudi today.
This African American Muslim/ returning to church becuase racsim in Kuwait, Waster . Waster, Lie's.

Welcome to the board and I really appreciate your honesty may Allah Reward you much.
However, not only in Saudi Arabia or Kuwait that Muslims are not fully applying Islam which is actually a major problem. But what we should do is tell others not to judge Islam by Muslims. I mean those who are racist are not applying Islam so why blame Islam. Plus sorry to tell you, this brother is not the first African American who faces racism from Muslims. Others did to, but they were able to differentiate between Islam and Muslims. Sisters, there are Muslims who kill, steel, commit zina..etc. Muslims are not angles, or else why Allah Commanded Hudud (punishments).
Insh aAllah each one of us will try to improve.

I have to be Honsest with you on matter Kuwaiti people an my Saudi brothers and sisters, This brother 100% right when he say there is racism in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia lets say GCC toward African American men, My father an hisband infromed me on this matter when thy return from business trip to Kuwait, We had long talk with family on this matter.
Its very sad to see this from my people.

Alsalam alaykom, welcome to the board sister Khadeeja, I live in Kuwait, there might be racism in all our arabic world and society, there is also racism in europe and america and every where in the world, but that does not mean that relegions call for racism, that is the mistake everyone makes, original Torah and Injeel never called for racism nor is it in Islam, we keep trying to tell everyone, if there are bad muslims that does not mean that Islam is to blame, but it is the mistake of our society that we are happy with the new westernization, and left Da'wa and calling for true Islam.

Try to explain to him the truth about islam, and how our Prophet(PBUH) used to treat every human the same, and we have Bilal as an example, if Islam was racist our Prophet would not make Bilal as a Mou'athen. There are many other stories we can find in his biography, insha'Allah we will try and help you, invite him to our forum, and also know dear sister, that Allah(SWT) guides whom He pleases, and puts people under tests, and those who fail to pass the test, and if y try to call them back and refuse, just let it be, and pray for them, Allah(SWT) said in His Holy Quran:
Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:
103. And most of mankind will not believe even if you desire it eagerly.
104. And no reward you (O Muhammad ) ask of them (those who deny your Prophethood) for it, it(the Qur'ân) is no less than a Reminder and an advice unto the 'Alamîn (men and jinns).
105. And how many a sign in the heavens and the earth they pass by, while they are averse therefrom.
106. And most of them believe not in Allâh except that they attribute partners unto Him [i.e. they are Mushrikûn -polytheists - see Verse 6: 121]. 12, Surat Yusuf
May Allah(SWT) guide those who are lost and are truly searching for the truth.
