Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) had said:

That who recites in the morning and in the evening these expressions: "Hallowed be Allah and all praise is due to Him" one hundred times, will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone with more excellent deeds than one who says the same or added to these words.

(Reported by Muslim)

Lessons deduced:

- It is desirable to frequently say remembrances of Allah.

- They can be said at any time. Yet it is especially recommended to say remembrances in the morning and the evening so that the day starts and ends with an act of worship. This will be an atonement for the minor sins one may commit during the day or night.

I said: Messenger of Allah! As to the one who kills it is understandable, but what about the killed? He (the Holy Prophet) replied:

The other longed to murder his opponent.

(Agreed upon)
