Sister Muslimah, I am a moderator on another site and feel I cannot remain silent any longer.
Editing a post is a serious affair; it can dramatically alter the content and the meaning of the post. Additionally, editing a post usually means that some rule of netiquette has been violated, and the editor needs to point this out in the post.
Why do you not engage in a dialogue on this subject with our brother Abu Nuran? I have found that no matter how great our differences, Allah SWT will guide sincere believers to the Truth through mutual discussion, as long as both parties are interested in reaching the Truth rather than simply trying to win the debate.
I urge you to being a dialogue with brother Abu, if only by private message. It grieves me to see this sort of discord.
