There is no contradiction. Perhaps you failed to notice that I said "Jesus is fully man AND FULLY GOD." No other man is God.

And you failed to see that when one claims Jesus is fully man then he must have origianl sin, to be fully human, period. So if Jesus is truly fully human then that is also saying that the fully God aspect has sin.
It is hard to have Jesus be both and believe in original sin. Yet origianl sin needs to be or why did Jesus die.

Does the scripture say that Jesus was born free from original sin?
I just don't understand how we are to relate to Jesus and feel he is from us (humans) when he does not have to bear the burden that we all must bear?

The scripture says that Jesus was completely blameless and sinless.
What you are forgetting, Dan, is that all Christians who embrace Christ <i>are also free</i> from original sin. Christians no longer have to "bear the burden" of original sin or sin at all.
So, to throw a loop in your questions...I<b> am a man and I am free from original sin.</b>

I know that AFTER Adam, all humans HAD to bear original sin. Jesus was born AFTER Adam.
I'll repeat this with a change:

Let me rephrase your statement. "I just don't understand how we are to relate to Jesus and feel his is from us (humans) because he is God and we aren't."
That is what you are saying.
What makes you think Christians "relate to Jesus" and that we hang our hope of salvation on the fact that he is "from us"? Jesus is the King I serve. He is the Lamb of God. Thankfully, he is really nothing like me although I strive to be like Him.

So he's not really human in nature. This is the whole point. When one tries to have Jesus be fully human then it degrades his status as fully God.
