Wel_mel, u have not imagination to understand this myth, ok so just carry on. u can not comprehend it.

WarriorofChrist

let me ask u this, now u r saying he is the lord, but again, u say that he sat on the right hand side of lord, then is he still Lord??? No now he is the son of lord. Fine why would the father punish himself to protect or save his children from making mistakes.

A father usually warns his child not to touch the electricity, and if the child does, he is hit or punished somehow. I never saw a father jumping out of the window to save his children from making a mistake.

Now u say the Lord sacrificed his only son, u mean that his servants are more dear to him than his only son.

how do u look at a God who have parenthood feelings, it is very contradictory

Jesus died for you - Muslimah - 02-06-2004

WarriorofChrist

now u must explain this to me

1 The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. 2 Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, 3 and Judah the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram, 4 and Ram the father of Ammin'adab, and Ammin'adab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon, 5 and Salmon the father of Bo'az by Rahab, and Bo'az the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse, 6 and Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uri'ah, 7 and Solomon the father of Rehobo'am, and Rehobo'am the father of Abi'jah, and Abi'jah the father of Asa, 8 and Asa the father of Jehosh'aphat, and Jehosh'aphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzzi'ah, 9 and Uzzi'ah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezeki'ah, 10 and Hezeki'ah the father of Manas'seh, and Manas'seh the father of Amos, and Amos the father of Josi'ah, 11 and Josi'ah the father of Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the deportation to Babylon. 12 And after the deportation to Babylon: Jechoni'ah was the father of She-al'ti-el, and She-al'ti-el the father of Zerub'babel, 13 and Zerub'babel the father of Abi'ud, and Abi'ud the father of Eli'akim, and Eli'akim the father of Azor, 14 and Azor the father of Zadok, and Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Eli'ud, 15 and Eli'ud the father of Elea'zar, and Elea'zar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob, 16 and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ. 17 So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations. 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit; 19 and her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. 20 But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; 21 she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." 22 All this took place to fulfil what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: 23 "Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel" (which means, God with us). 24 When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him; he took his wife, 25 but knew her not until she had borne a son; and he called his name Jesus.

wel_mel pls look here

now Warrior, if u r saying he is god or son of god, how can the bible state a human geonology for him starting with Abraham, am I missing something here????

I think Abraham is a human being, or is he god related also???

now one more point warrior, u need to explain.

Dont u think as a god or son of god, he must be possessing some super powers. wouldnt it have been better and more effective for jesus (PBUH) to appear as a grown up man, why did he have to go through the whole process of infancy and birth like any other human.

now warrior, in no way I am trying to win an argument, but u brought up very interesting points. And I see u r under total brain wash.

specially bringing funny faults about Quran. when u can not read Arabic. They simply taught u so.

Why dont u give yourself a fair chance,

pls read carefully, ponder and try to answer

waiting

He had to be a child and grow up like us it woulnt be fair, God experienced life like we do, he became flesh.

Also God promised that Messiah would come out of the line of King David.

Quote:I think Abraham is a human being, or is he god related also???
Abraham was only human, Jesus was god in the flesh.the bible says the word became flesh and dwelt amongs us.

I want to show you a prophecy in Isaiah tell me who is this Child who would be called Almighty God ? Who does this child fit ?

God can become man, are you saying he is not powerful enough to become flesh. you are giving God limitations, what is impossible with men is possible with God.

Quote:let me ask u this, now u r saying he is the lord, but again, u say that he sat on the right hand side of lord, then is he still Lord??? No now he is the son of lord. Fine why would the father punish himself to protect or save his children from making mistakes.
.

.

Tell me can God get pregnant and have Jesus ? a son is not the same way your earthly minds see it, you need to understand the scripture you belittle me and laugh at me, yet you don't understand.

God is not like men Jesus is the son of God, he came from God he was part of God and became flesh. if you have a son you should know that a son is part of you, he came from you.

God he sent his son Jesus, who was part of him.

If you read the old testament God commanded Abraham to offer isaac, when he obeyed God and was about to kill Isaac God stopped it, because Abrahams offer was not good enough, only Gods son is good enough for the atonement of all sins, you should read the bible, so you can see all that i'm saying and ask God to reveal the words to you.

Quote:A father usually warns his child not to touch the electricity, and if the child does, he is hit or punished somehow. I never saw a father jumping out of the window to save his children from making a mistake
Jesus dying on the cross was not a mistake, God planned it since the beggining, The vail that seperate man from God was ripped in half the day Jesus died on the cross.

like John the Baptist said when he saw Jesus

Here is the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world.

I know you are gonna come back with questions like of he said he was a lamb is he a fluffy animal that goes bahh My answer is you need to understand the words ask God for help.

Quote:Now u say the Lord sacrificed his only son, u mean that his servants are more dear to him than his only son.
his sacrificing his son is the ultimate show of love for us.

QUOTE]how do u look at a God who have parenthood feelings, it is very contradictory

God is a Father to all of us, he is not a dictator, he loves us and wants a relationship with us.

God bless

Assalamo Alikom sister Muslimah..

I'm looking very well don’t worry. [Image: smile.gif]

I have red the genealogy of Jesus Christ in the Book of Math 1:6-17 and you know what???? There is another genealogy of Jesus Christ also in the Book of Luke 3:23-38 and Guess what?????? all the names mentioned ( the 66 fathers and grandfathers of Jesus) in these 2 books are different. But you will find that Math and Luke agrees to recognize the name of Joseph ONLY….. Only Joseph is the Common name found in both genealogies of Jesus Christ. I brought the Verse here to compare it with the book of Math which you post it up there.

. 23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli, 24 Which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi, which was the son of Melchi, which was the son of Janna, which was the son of Joseph, 25 Which was the son of Mattathias, which was the son of Amos, which was the son of Naum, which was the son of Esli, which was the son of Nagge, 26 Which was the son of Maath, which was the son of Mattathias, which was the son of Semei, which was the son of Joseph, which was the son of Juda, 27 Which was the son of Joanna, which was the son of Rhesa, which was the son of Zorobabel, which was the son of Salathiel, which was the son of Neri, 28 Which was the son of Melchi, which was the son of Addi, which was the son of Cosam, which was the son of Elmodam, which was the son of Er, 29 Which was the son of Jose, which was the son of Eliezer, which was the son of Jorim, which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi, 30 Which was the son of Simeon, which was the son of Juda, which was the son of Joseph, which was the son of Jonan, which was the son of Eliakim, 31 Which was the son of Melea, which was the son of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David, 32 Which was the son of Jesse, which was the son of Obed, which was the son of Booz, which was the son of Salmon, which was the son of Naasson, 33 Which was the son of Aminadab, which was the son of Aram, which was the son of Esrom, which was the son of Phares, which was the son of Juda, 34 Which was the son of Jacob, which was the son of Isaac, which was the son of Abraham, which was the son of Thara, which was the son of Nachor, 35 Which was the son of Saruch, which was the son of Ragau, which was the son of Phalec, which was the son of Heber, which was the son of Sala, 36 Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech, 37 Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan, 38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

The Bible tells us that Jesus has no Human father. And yet it is also telling us that Jesus Christ (PBUH) had 66 fathers and grandfathers. How come the Bible makes genealogy to ONE who doesn't have ANY genealogy ????

You know sister.. They will tell you that Joseph is his father only by NAME.. what does it mean ? Is that English please because I cannot speak Chinese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The same Confusion of the Trinity... Here we go. Are you ready Warrior???

They say in the name of the father (GOD) AND in the name of the son JESUS (AND) in the name of the Holy Spirit. All are one. Well, can anyone let me know when we use the word AND AND AND after each word or after each sentence what does it mean? It means that we are referring to different thing or different person coming up after each word or after each sentence. Am I right? Well, so when we say 1 AND 1 AND 1 not 3 but 1!!!!!!! In which language ONE AND ONE AND ONE ARE NOT THREE BUT ONE???????????

You see Warrior you have to resolve this problem first, believe me man., this problem is facing the priests and the pastors everywhere in the world. And most of them Alhamdulelah come to Islam because of this Trinity ,. Someone Christian told me.. WE JUST HAVE TO BELIEVE IN IT!!

my dear, you are strong in your beliefs and knowledgable in your religion. then why dont you study about other beliefs you might gain more knowledge insteade of preaching Christianity here.

all of us here Admin , mods and members Muslims and non Muslims came to this board to learn and share knowledge about ISLAM.

Take care and May Allah (God Almighty) show you the light and the right path. Ameen.

First you have to admit that those prophecies have been fulfilled.

Second I want to explain to you about God being man and God at the same time.

God came to earth as a men, he became FLESH

Jesus Christ's physical body was 100-percent human, not just part human. Our bodies can die, and so could his. When we die, our physical body dies, but our soul and spirit remain. They are eternal; they never die. The same is true of Jesus Christ. His physical body died, but his inner self is eternal and did not die.

Jesus is more than a man. Although he is 100-percent human, he is also 100% God, the Creator of the universe. He is all-powerful. Although evil men killed his physical body, he easily had the power to restore life to his body again.

When his body came alive, he walked out of his tomb, completely healthy and strong.

I have an analogy that might help you understand this. Let’s say I’m doing a puppet show for a children’s party. I’m hiding behind a wall and my two hands are in the puppets. The kids, with a limited view, see two characters performing.

Although the kids see two identities, there is actually only one person. Both identities are an extension of me. They are not all of me, but they are part of me. Likewise, God can bring an extension of Himself down to earth. This extension would not be all of God, but it would be part of God. In other words, God would not have to take a "leave of absence" from Heaven in order to have an extension of Himself come to earth.

Jesus has two natures: God and man. In other words, Jesus is both God and man at the same time. This is why we see some scriptures that point to Him being divine and others pointing to Him being a man.

This is not a made-up doctrine. Rather, it is a doctrine derived from observing God's word. It is true that God cannot die. It is also true that man can die. But we see that Jesus has two natures, not one. It was the human part of Jesus that died on the cross, not the divine. But, because He is both God and man in one person, and because He was sinless, His sacrifice is sufficient to cover the sins of the world.

I hope this explains to you of how I believe

God Bless

u know what u r so confused, I dont need u to explain by the bible I want u to use your mind. I am not laughing at u or mocking u. NOt at all. u say a son is not like our earthly mind sees, yet u follow by saying that a son is part of you.

Warrior, u r done, thank u

Peace everybody!

Warrior what would be harder to create. Adam, alayhe salaam, with no Mother or Father, or Jesus, alayhe salaam with only a Mother. You see, when Allah (SWT) says "BE" it shall be. You tell us we need Jesus, alayhe salaam. You know what, we do have Jesus, alaayhe salaam. But his not God, nor the son of God. His a Messenger who spread the word of Allah (SWT) ISLAM! Plain and simple. Did you know Warrior that Jesus, alayhe salaam is mentined more times in the Quaran than Mohammed (SAW)?

Did you know that Mohammed's (SAW) mother is not even mentioned in the Quaran? Yet there is a WHOLE Surah devoted to Mary, may Allah be pleased with her, in the Quaran. Do you know the first comandment? I am your the Lord your God, and you shall have no other Gods besides me. This was a law of Allah (SWT) that was sent down by Allah (SWT) to Moses, alayhe salaam. Was Jesus, alayhe salaam, around yet?
