How did u feel - hefny - 09-06-2003 As Salam Alykom By the grass of Allah I am working in Saudi Arabia & I have chance to perform hajj & OMRA for many times My feeling is difference especially from time to time but I cannot resist my self from performing hajj since I joined my work in K.S.A. It is Allah blessing to make it easy for me to be close to Ka`aba Let is start express my feeling: 1. When you have the intention to do OMRA you should take a shower start taking off all your worldly clothes and ware only two pieces of white towel without any pockets (only for men) 2. By saying your intention at Mikaat (specific place for each region) labika Allahum ba OMRA you have to stick to manasek of things like don’t cut your hair or a tree or your nails...ext. 3. You got the feeling that you have a chance to purify your self from a big load of sins if Allah accept your OMRA 4. Also you half a chance to off load your sadness & world things after starting your OMRA sincerely you feel that our worldly life is not going with us at the day of judgments only what stays with your are your good deeds 5. During my trip to makkah I was reaping my prayers (Labikaa Aluhoma Labaik Labiaka Laa Shrekaa Laak Labika Ena Alhumdaa Walmulka Lakaa Labiaka Laa Shareek Laak) wounderful feeling 6. Once I arrived to makkah you feel that you are getting closer to Allah & Allah mercy is showering you & all doors are open for you to enter from any doors 7. After saying pray of enter to a Masjed you use your right feet first 8. Even though you always find thousands of Muslims are in already doing prayers or Tawaf and reciting Quran but you got a feeling like you are blessed to be in that place in that time for forgiveness 9. You walk few meters you can see ka baa that place that is the direction we all Muslims headed for prayers you should say whatever you wish from doaa & you should be feeling it could be accepted 10. Now your Tawaf can started for seven complete round of Ka’ ab during your Tawaf you can said whatever prayer you wish except beside rukken elyamany sunnah you should say (rabannah attanah fy aldonia hasnaten wa fy alakharh hassnah wa kanaa azabb alnarr) 11. During your Tawaf you feel that you are too close to Allah forgiveness but you have to be sincere in your prayers during Tawaf and it could be your last chance for forgiveness 12. During your Tawaf and performing your manasek for OMRA you Cry or at least you feel that you want to cry and it is a join feeling of happiness and sadness – happiness by feeling that you could be forgiven and sadness by the feeling you wasted a lot of time in your life for nothing 13. While doing Tawaf the wonderful things that you can see around you performing Omra other Muslims from all over the world differences languages wearing same white towels no differentiation no racing all ages crying and doing sincere prayers The above is part one from Omra I hope my wards are clear and if I am right this from Allah and if I am wrong it is from me and sit an How did u feel - Dan - 11-02-2003 Bismillah Upon seeing the Kaaba, I felt like I was in a dream state or a trance. I could no longer tell if what I was experiencing was reality. I thought to myself how if I woke up, I would not be surprised. I felt that if I reached out to touch the scene of the Kaaba with muslims making tawaf, praying, doing thikr, drinking zamzam, it would shimmer away like an image in a crystal clear pool. I also noticed the birds making tawaf. I felt in union with reality and the universe as I made tawaf. My fellow muslims and I were submitting voluntarily to what the rest of creation is more than happy to do... worship Allah. The sky was so clear and deep I almost fell into it as I gazed at the great majestic signs of Allah. Like a cell in the body, I felt small but serving the role that I was made to do, flowing from one act of worship to the next, weaving between the other flowing submitters. I too felt my heart fill. I sensed the blessings pouring upon me like cool nourishing water. Yet my infinite thirst could not be quenched. I circled as my feet ached, not feeling pain but rather satisfaction that my body was tiring from something truly relevant. Prayed until my concentration was shot. My mind was numb with it all. I eventually just sat back and watched while my party was getting ready to leave. A place truly blessed by Allah. There is nothing like it and will never be. A thousand times more graces for worship I want to do anyway, for worship that I HAVE to do as commanded by Allah. Yet His Mercy is so endless and fulfilling that He blesses us so much even when we really do not deserve it. Yes my sister. My heart yearns to return whenever I talk of it. Like a lost loved one. When they are not discussed it is easy to forget how much they truly mean to you. When the time comes to remember though... the emotions come flooding back. The emotions that I feel just remembering being at that consecrated land instills desire again. Desire to go to the land that is all of ours, the muslims. No one can keep us out and no one else can go there. It is ours, by the gift of Allah and His Command. I think it is beautiful that in the hearts of muslims there is one place that we all can call home and all know the power and emotions involved with our home. Jazakum Allah for helping me remember.
