let me pop in and be brief I think I will have to repeat myself here too.

Peace In Irland. There are major conceptual difference among Muslims and non Muslims specially in the death issue. Allah told us in Quran that this world is not an adobe of comfort but rather of struggle. In simple words, this world is not but a transit stop before we all take the same plane but to different final destinations of course. During this transit it does not matter then if we stay in an airport VIP lounge, check in in Airport Mariott, sit on a regular seat in the airport vicinity or on the floor, what really matters is the permanent eternal destination.

Part of Islam is Jihah, is to stand in the face of enemies, as Intution brought to your attention we must not be proud or else we can not smell Jannah. But detering enemies is an honorable duty. Much differene. As naseeha said also fighting in the name of Allah has rules, briefly not to kill women and children (innocent), but can u categorize Jews OCCUPYING palestine as innocents? can u categorize women there who are not civilians as innocent? No

Can u see the differecen? Now again the rule is we call for a peaceful withdrawal, if not responded to, try negotiations then fight, many examples are included in the Sunnah, so are u getting the point??

So children are innocent because they have no control over where they are born. But, children grow up into adults. They still have no control over where they were born. Isreal is just as much their home as it is a Muslim's home, except now they're guilty? Guilty enough to be killed?

Also, I respect the fact that Muslims do not regard this life as the most important thing. But it raises questions:

Why, then, do Muslims care so much about being occupied? If this life is just a bus ride to heaven, what does it matter who lives on "your land?"

Also, even if it is your personal belief that this life is just a transit ride, does it bother you that it isn't everyone else's belief? Just because you deem political problems in the middle-east worthy of Jihad, that doesn't mean eveybody else does. Jews being killed, Muslims who do not share that particular beliefe being killed, and outsiders (peace activists, tourists, etc.) being killed.

Just something to think about.

Peace u r getting the points mixed up, I dont want to quote Ayahs of Quran and repeat what we ve been saying all the time.

Again and again:

1. defending Muslim land is a religious duty: part of the responsibilities we assume

during our transit stop.

2. We are commanded not to stand still in face of aggression against Muslims, so standing still is violating our duties.

3. It does not bother me when non muslims dont realize the fact about the transit stop. We dont go around pushing people to adopt our beliefs, only when they seek knowledge we respond.

4. When a Muslim falls short in this point, I certrainly have to grow concerned, also as part of my duty.

5. Most important is that during this transit stop we are bound by a set of rules and regulations made by ALLAH, we must not again must not overlook them. Simply because following the rules ensures our safety. Like for instance that we must abide by immigration rules in any given country or else we are in trouble.

6. Issue of Palestine is also settled in Quran, what is happening is actually all included in Quran. There will be a major war among Muslims and jews according to Quran to take back what they stole. That is it Peace.

7. Jews living there are settlers brought from evey where on organized trips......and mostly receive military training. peace it is a long issue that would be settled by Allah, as mentioned in Quran. Even them being gathered in one place is a sing for the closeness of this war. See we know all this from our book. [Image: smile.gif]

Ok. I'm just gettin' your goat Muslimah ("getting your goat" in an American, and possibly an English, expression which means egging someone on.) I just love constant debate, so I hope my inquisitive nature didn't come off as offensive.

One question however. If, by some stroke of miracle, Jews decided to disolve the current Isreali government and live peacefully among the Muslims, you would accept that? Or must the Jews leave the land forever? And if they could live in peace among muslims, would they be subject to muslim law?

I see the state of Isreal disolving willingly like I see the US letting France make decisions for Americans. Maybe even more far fetched than that. [Image: biggrin.gif]

I can see the direction that you are going but I am foremost wanting peace to come first. Then I'll worry about the moon slamming into the earth... I mean, Isreal accepting Palestinians.
