Questions for Christians members II - Muslimah - 06-23-2006 Bismillah Quote:Wael, salam Curious, I think you inquired about this particular point and i referred u to a whole thread dedicated to it. Thus, if u still use this point as an argument, it might be either that u didnt understand the explanation, or u ignore it just to argue.. Pls verify. Questions for Christians members II - Curious Christian - 06-23-2006 Quote:What kind of moral do we learn from those stories? I know that the Bible do not allowed these things. But I need to know is what is the moral?? If there is any. They were only blameness in that they kept God's law prescribed in the OT and performed necessary sacrifices to atone for their sins. Since the birth, death and resurrection of Christ nobody is perfect without Christ. Questions for Christians members II - Curious Christian - 06-23-2006 Quote:Bismillah: You clearly don't understand the difference between the OT and NT. Jesus fullfilled the law. Jesus himself said he did not come to heal the righteous but it was the sick that needed healing. "I must decrease, He must increase." Questions for Christians members II - Curious Christian - 06-23-2006 Quote:Bismillah I didn't ignore the whole thread dedicated to it. I respectfully don't accept the explanation provided. Bottom line is that Satan did influence Mohammed. And, because I don't believe Islam I do say that Mohammed wrote the Qur'an and not God. Jesus on the other hand crushed Satan. Jesus was tempted by Satan and said, "Away from me." and Satan heeded Jesus' command. One verse (68: 51-52) in particular states: "And they say, 'Surely he is possessed [by jinn],' but it [i.e., the Qur'an] is not except a reminder to the worlds." Thus it gives an argument in reply to such a theory. In fact, there are many arguments in the Qur'an in reply to the suggestion that devils brought Muhammad pbuh his message. For example, in the 26th chapter Allah clearly affirms: "No evil ones have brought it [i.e., this revelation] down. It would neither be fitting for them, nor would they be able. Indeed they have been removed far from hearing." (26:210-212) And in another place (16:98) in the Qur'an, Allah instructs us: "So when you recite the Qur'an seek refuge in Allah from Satan , the rejected." Now is this how Satan writes a book? He tells one, "Before you read my book, ask God to save you from me?" This is very, very tricky. Salam Wael. |
