Todays message for Christian guest - abdulwalee - 03-27-2007 Quote:Why not post all of John 13 heretic?Thats what you say, kaafir Todays message for Christian guest - Faith Hope Charity - 03-30-2007 Glory to God, peace on earth, good will to all. If I may, I'd just like to point out a few things... Quote:4. If the Father and His Son were both in "existence" from the Day One, and no one was, a micro second before or after, and, no one was "greater or lesser" in status, than why is one called the Father and the other His begotten Son? We profess that the Son is eternally begotten of the Father. There was not a time that He was not. Eternity transcends time, so does Heaven. The mystery of God is that He's a communion of Persons, not a solitude, which is why He doesn't rely on creatures to exist (master/slave relationship). The Father generates the Son through Love (Holy Spirit). I could go on & on but it's clear that you're not really interested. Quote:"And Peter said to them, `Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins;...'" (Acts 2:38). It is most unlikely that apostle Peter would have disobeyed the specific command of Jesus Christ for baptising in the three names and baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ, alone. No where throughout history was anyone baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ & not the Most Holy Trinity. St Peter is making a distinction between the baptism that St John the Baptist preached & the Sacrament of Baptism that Christ instituted. Quote:Notwithstanding the above rejections, the verse that follows the quoted text reads in KJV; "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood; and these three agree in one." (1John5:8). Are these three witnesses "co-equal"? Can blood be substituted with water? Can water be regarded as the same in any respect with the Spirit? Just as the spirit, the blood and the water are three separate entities, so are the first three witnesses, namely; the Father, the Son (Word, Logos) and the Holy Spirit (Ghost). On the Cross both blood & water gushed forth from Jesus' side... bringing about new life (blood) cleansed of sin (water). It is a reference to Christ's Divinity. "Witness" is used in a more broader sense. "The Holy Spirit makes us adoptive sons of God; the water of the sacred font cleanses us; the blood of the Lord redeems us; the spiritual sacrament gives us a dual witness, one visible, one invisible." Praise be to God always. Tears are flowing down my face. I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful Christianity is. I just love it!!! Quote:Oh really ? Please forgive me for saying this, but it just goes to show why Islam's the fastest growing religion in the world. God bless. Faith Hope Charity Openness Tolerance Equality. Todays message for Christian guest - abdulwalee - 03-30-2007 yada yada Yada, It's an explanation but it's NoT true.... Todays message for Christian guest - Dan - 03-30-2007 Bismillah "Please forgive me for saying this, but it just goes to show why Islam's the fastest growing religion in the world." You cry about cheap shots but are not shy of taking them when the opportunity presents itself. If you truly wanted to be "forgiven" then you would not have said it in the first place. Todays message for Christian guest - Faith Hope Charity - 04-02-2007 All for the greater glory of God! Peace be with you! Quote:You cry about cheap shots but are not shy of taking them when the opportunity presents itself. If you truly wanted to be "forgiven" then you would not have said it in the first place. I'm sure you know by now how I feel about freedom of religion, so whenever this topic is at hand, I risk offending Muslims by stating what I believe (more or less) to be true. I'm not trying to make an excuse for myself but my "cheap shots" are way different from yours. Anyways, I'm sorry if my remark hurt you but I just can't take it back. Todays message for Christian guest - abdulwalee - 04-02-2007 Quote:Is the joke as funny as the proof you have yet to provide ? Sometimes Intelellectual proof is the only thing needed... Todays message for Christian guest - Dan - 04-02-2007 Bismillah "I'm not trying to make an excuse for myself but my "cheap shots" are way different from yours." If you say so... Todays message for Christian guest - SisterJennifer - 04-02-2007 Quote:Bismillah Asalaamu alikum, It is true, her cheap shots ARE different. The reason being because they apply no logic or reason. Islam IS the fastest growing religion globally, yes that is true, and the fastest spread is happening in westren countries, Europe, Canada, USA, etc., and most in particular among women. Amazingly, in these countries, we dont hear about Muslims beating anybody to death, as John's article points out, so I guess it does not stand to reason that this is, in fact, the reason why Islam is spreading. But is it makes some people feel better to try and justify Islams growth that way, then so be it. Islam will continue to grow as long as there are people in search for the truth. :) Take care |
