dear brothers and sisters.....

i would appreciate if someone can help me by describing the details of daily routines that every Muslim should do, starting from the time he wakes up until the time he sleep.... including the prayers (salaah and du'a)...

asalamu elykum wr wb,

iam not an expert in it..but i'll try to tell u about it with my knowledge.....if i miss out any important thing please don't hesitate to pick my mistake [Image: biggrin.gif]

1- Before the coming out of sun, you should read 'Fajr' Salah

Then it is good if you recite Holy Quran & recite ayah's. This is because when you start the day with the blessing from Allah, your whole day will be blessed (insha allah)

2- Then comes the time of Zuhr Salah, some people are either at work or in School, colleges or Universities. Try to make a place where you can offer the prayer [Image: biggrin.gif]

Oh yes, i've heard that between Zuhr & Asar times, if you pray for anything with a pure heart, Allah will accept your prayer(subhan allah) [Image: biggrin.gif]

3- Then comes the Asar salah, at that time some people come home & some are still at work. Wherever you are, you should pray [Image: biggrin.gif]

4- Then is the Magrib salah, that time almost all the people are at homes, so that will be easier for a person to pray

5- Then comes the Isha salah

---------> Between the prayers, it's your wish if you want to recite Quran, do the 'tasbeeh' of Allah or give darood to Prophet Muhammed(pbuh)

---------> There is a time between Isha & Fajr prayer, when Allah says is the suitable time to ask for forgiveness or anything [Image: biggrin.gif]

........subhan allah, that time with ALL your worries & work at rest, your mind & heart work together for the LOVE of Allah [Image: biggrin.gif]

i really appreciate your info. but i need the details like the specific du'a when we woke up, du'a before we get into a transport etc...

and i need the example of what a muslim do in several conditions such as meeting friends, working, playing etc.

Assalamualaykum...

i give some example...

when a muslim wake up from sleep, we would say:

"Alhamdulillahillazi ahyana ba'dama amaatana wailaihinnusyur"

then he would take some wudhu' and do some tahajjud, zikr etc...

What to say when you wake up

Alhamdulilahi alathee ahyana b'ad ma amatana wa ilayhee alnashuur

Translation: Thanks be to Allah who awoke us after our death and He is the only one that can resurrect us.

Before Going to Sleep

Allaahumma bi-Ismika Amutu Wa Ahyaa

Translation: O Allah, With Your name do I live and Die

I know heaps of other dua's but I got to go now, so I'll be back with some more later.

Waalaykummusslama....

Actually Allaahumma bi-ismika Amutu Wa Ahyaa

means "O Allah, With Your name do i die and live"

Amutu is "i die"

Ahyaa is "i live"

U r correct brother Arif, but I d like to make a further explanation

I can best translate bismeka as in your name, it is like Bismellah but here it is bismek, it means bismek Allah, matter of fact the exact text as I know it and say it every night is Bismek Allahuma not the other way.

so bismeka is In Your Name Allah
