No War For Izrael - Rehmat - 12-28-2004

Most Americans haven't seen the growing legion of wounded troops returning from Iraq who are cared for at military facilities sealed off from the public. The media, in turn, have focused on the hit-and-run guerrilla attacks that claim one or two GIs in Iraq almost daily. Little attention has been paid to the long, difficult and very personal struggles that ensue in wards at BAMC and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington.

For whom dear - Izrael or the US?

Don't feel pity for Zionists - they have sucked US$3 trillion off the US taxpayers since 1950s. [Image: tongue.gif]

Humans....lol...Such people are worse than animals. They're trained as 'fighting machine without any morality'. During their training at the US military academy, these GIs are taught that killing, raping and torturing Muslims is 'part of Christiandom,' (reported by several US soldiers among the thousands who have converted to Islam in Iraq).

Waleikum Salam wr wb,

Well, how can u be sure of it. I know that USA soldiers aren't doing good in Iraq> But where is the proof that they are 'taught' to do all these horrible things to Muslims? [Image: blink.gif]

Does this really surprise you so much Sereen? I mean what they are told to do is disgusting but far from surprising. I've also read U.S. troops themselves reporting on this. One such story was in a Muslim newspaper over in my country. If you really want more info on it i will try and dig it out. I think it was four or so Issues ago. But yes, if you want i will try to find it. It's a shame, the vast Majority of soldiers doing this sick stuff, always overshadow the few trying to do their best, there must be some out there. Like non racist policemen in the UK, there must be some right?

Asalamu Alaikum

SubhanAllah, it's amazing how many soldiers convert to Islam after they have been in the middle east. InshaAllah I hope my brother will be one of them.

Those pictures are indeed sad. Although I do not agree with what the u.s. military is doing collectively, I have great respect for the soldiers as individuals. I know several of them personally, among them my brother, his friends, a few cousins, and some I went to school with. I know all of them to be good, caring, compassionate people. I also know that war has many adverse affects not only on the body, but also the mind.

I can never know for sure what the u.s. military teaches its soldiers, but I do know what my brother described to me of his training regarding the people and culture of Iraq. I was quite pleased with what he told me. They seemed to put great emphasis on respect and peace. I wrote about this in more detail in this post: http://www.islamsms.com/bb/index.php?s...t=0entry15782

I pray for my brother's safe return home.

I pray that he will find a good impression of Islam and inshaAllah one day take shahada.

I pray for the safety of everyone in Iraq and the middle east, both muslim and non-muslim.

Ameen.

Please join me in these prayers, inshaAllah.

JazakAllah khair

The Pentagon today estimates there are about 4,000 practicing Muslims in uniform. The American Muslim Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Council, places the number around 10,000. And how these Muslims in uniform are treated?

Muslim Army Chaplain Capt. James J. Yee, who was counseling Afghan prisoners at the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, naval base was detained after being “found in possession” of classified documents – but after a long military justice process – he was found innocent of all the allegations!

Army Sgt. Asan Akbar was accused in attack on his fellow soldiers in Kuwait. Fifteen soldiers were wounded, two of them fatally. He was put through a general court-martial trial – the final verdict – unknown!

Ali A. Mohamed, a former US Army sergeant who served from 1986 to 1989, was described as a "mid-level player" in the 1998 terrorist bombings of US embassies in Kenya. He “pleaded guilty” in 2000 of being a follower of Osama bin Laden!

Several Muslims in the military have been accused in the past of putting their religion before their duty. [Image: wub.gif]
