What do Christians know about Islam???
Posted by: Purgetory - 05-31-2003, 09:31 PM - Forum: Discussion of Beliefs - Replies (5)

I have been in a discussion in another board about religion and it seems that Christians get alot of info about Islam from

www.chick.com (then go to the Islam section)

Here, I will prove to you all that this site is only for those weak minded that would blindly accept anything their stupid propaganda give to them.

I'll start an article after another:

http://www.chick.com/information/religions...islam/allah.asp

Quote:The Arab conquests were made possible because the central powers in the Middle East had exhausted themselves in wars against each other. They were not able to fight off wave after wave of Arab armies which subdued entire nations with merciless slaughter, rape and plunder.[/quote:26117ac6f4]This is one remark which actualy proves that everything being said is nonsense. Ask some decent history source, there were 3 great empires that the Muslim Nation has destroyed. The Faris Emprie (thats in arabic, they are what is now Iran), The Roman Empire, and the Zulu Empire (south Africa).

Concerning the merciless slaughter, rape and plunder, why dont you also look into some history source of yours and ask where did the Jews flew after the Christians started RAPING AND SLAUGHTERING THEM IN SPAIN AFTER THE MUSLIMS WERE FORCED OUT.

The Jews fled to the North of Africa, to a land still occupied by the Muslims, to run away from the Christian slaughter in Spain. Because they found peace under our wing.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The Arabs destroyed some of the wonders of the ancient world such as the world famous library in Alexandria, Egypt, They destroyed many ancient churches and synagogues. Anthropologists have recorded how the Arabs destroyed the cultural heritage of any nation which fell under their sword.[/quote:26117ac6f4]O yeah? Well I wonder if Jerusalem was under Arab rule as well? It was and I'm sure you agree with me, because if you dont then your denying the existance of the Crusades which were faught on Jerusalem against Muslims.

If we agree on that, then I ask you, why is the Christian Church in Jerusalem, the one which is believed to be the birth place of Jesus, still standing? It was there long before the prophecy of Mohammed. Yet it still is standing even after Muslim rule over it. Makes us go back to the quote where chick.com said, "They destroyed many ancient churches and synagogues".

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>If the Arab hordes which swept over the ancient world were not Christians or Jews, then what were they? They were pagans who worshipped a pagan god called Allah and followed pagan rites which were practiced in Arabia long before the religion of Islam evolved.[/quote:26117ac6f4]Ah yes, that is why the prophet Mohammed and his followers were tortured by their tribe. That is why the migrated to another city (The Hijra which also marks the begining of the muslim calander).

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Christians worship one God in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. But Islam denies the Holy Trinity and worships a different deity called Allah who is not a Father and who has no son. Since the religion found in the Bible teaches the Trinity, then it does not take a Ph.D. to see that Islam did not come from the Bible. Thus it is not the religion of the biblical prophets, apostles or Jesus.[/quote:26117ac6f4]

The migration made by the prophet and his followers was to Medinah, a land ruled by a Christian. Yet still, they took Mohammed and his followers, and protected them.

Yet I ask you, why did the Christians protect a man who denies their deity? Could it be because back then, the Bible wasn't so corrupted and it held a prophecy of an illitrate prophet that is called Mohammed, Ahmed, or Mahmood?

Anyway, I realy dont care whats written in your Bible, I dont believe in it and its not a point to be made that Mohammed is not a prophet because the Bible didnt say so. I dont care what the Bible says anyway, cause its no longer God's words.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Islam's origins have been traced back by scholars to the ancient fertility religion of the worship of the moon god which was always the dominant religion of Arabia. The moon god was worshipped by praying toward Mecca several times a day, making an annual pilgrimage to the Kabah which was a temple of the moon god, running around the Kabah seven times, caressing an idol of a black stone set in the wall of the Kabah, running between two hills, making animal sacrifices, gathering on Fridays for prayers, giving alms to the poor, etc.. These were pagan rites practiced by the Arabs long before Muhammad was born.[/quote:26117ac6f4]As I have said earlier, if Mohammed didnt bring anything new, then why was he prosecuted by his people? Yet I have to say, the Kabah was there long before the prophet Mohammed, for it was bilt by the prophet Abraham, and through generations, people still think that it is of divine, but because they got corrupted, they strayed from the original path of Abraham and started worshiping idols around the Kabah. Thats why there was a need for a new prophet, the prophet Mohammed, which came and brought them back to rightiousness, destroyed all the idols in and around the Kabah.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>What religion today practices the pagan rites of the moon god? Islam! This explains why the crescent moon is the symbol of Islam. It is placed on top of mosques and minarets and displayed on hats, flags, rugs, amulets and even jewelry. Every time you see the Muslim symbol of a crescent moon, you are seeing the ancient symbol of the moon god.[/quote:26117ac6f4]This is the most pitiful comment I heard so far! There were hundreds if not thousands of gods prayed for before Mohammed in Arabia. Moon is just one of them. Yet you will go about that moon symbol, do you know that the months in our calander starts and ends according to the shape of the moon? That the holy month of Ramadan starts at a certain shape of the moon (which is when the moon is a cresent).

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Does the average Muslim know that he is worshipping a moon god? No. Does he know why the crescent moon symbol sits on top of his mosque? No. Is he shocked and perhaps angered at these facts of history? Yes. But can mere denial or angry threats refute the fact that Islam is nothing more than a modern version of the ancient religion of the moon god Allah? No. The average Muslim has been kept in the dark by the Mullahs and Imams who would lose their power if the truth ever got out.[/quote:26117ac6f4]Well I guess I have answered that whole article.

Next article:

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The insurmountable problem that Muslims face is that they do not have any documentary evidence from the 7th and 8th century to back up any of their claims. For example, if Uthman compiled the Qur'an as the Hadith claims (Bukhari I:63; IV:709: VI:507, 510), where is the manuscript evidence for this? Why have no Qur'ans survived from that period? Why do we have to wait over a hundred years before we find even a scrap of the Qur'an?[/quote:26117ac6f4]scroll down and see the picture:

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The Qur'an was invented in order to give spiritual unity to the vast empire created by Arab conquests. By borrowing liberally from the legends, myths and religious traditions of pagans, Jews, Christians, Hindus, and Persians, they created one religion to rule over all its citizens. Thus the Qur'an was the product of multiple authors from different times and places. These authors contributed stories and legends from their own cultural and religious background. The sources of these stories have been well documented by many scholars.[/quote:26117ac6f4]Oh? well why didnt they give us examples I wonder? But wait, I can give examples of Christian beliefs and Greek myth!

The Christians believe in the river styx which needs to be cross by Charon's help to get to Hell.

The Greeks used to believe that there is a river called styx as well which needs to be crossed by The Ferryman's help. How about your Holy Spirit coming as a swan? Well Zeus did the same thing as well, read the Illiad.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>This is why, to become a Muslim, you must take an Arab name, dress like an Arab, speak Arabic, eat only what Arabs eat, treat your wife as Arabs treat their wives, etc.[/quote:26117ac6f4]TEH!!! Where the hell did they get THAT from?

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The religion of Islam was thus born out of Arab cultural imperialism and is rooted in a racist attitude that all things Arab are good while all things non-Arab are evil. Until this is understood, the true nature of Islam cannot be grasped.[/quote:26117ac6f4]Ah yes, and this is why Malcolm X excaped the Christian US racist regim, came to Arabia, converted to Islam because he found that there is no difference between people of different races or colours in Islam (and mind you, Malcolm X was American, he didnt know a word of Arabic).

Or are you gonna deny the existance of Malcolm now? How about Mohammed Ali the boxer? Didnt he convert to Islam because he found equality between people of different races in Islam that he didnt find in any other religion?

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>This is why Western dress, food, movies, hairstyles, etc., are zealously denounced by the Mullahs and Imams as Satanic. Such things as blue jeans are not really condemned because they are immoral but because they are not Arab.[/quote:26117ac6f4]O ya? and did you know that Saudi Arabia is filled to the brim with american products? including Giordano, CK, Next, BH, and hundereds of other stores which all sell BLUE JENES? The clearest proof i can find that we have western products here in saudi arabia is that I can talk to you right now. Ever heard of an arab made computer company?

This is pathetic!

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The truthfulness of this observation is easily demonstrated by Islam's demand that one bow in prayer in the direction of Arabia (Mecca) and make a pilgrimage to Arabia (Mecca). The religion of Islam is Arabian paganism and culture raised to divine law and imposed upon conquered nations.[/quote:26117ac6f4]so your calling us racists because the prophet Mohammed was born in Arabia? We do a pilgrimage to his grave and thus we are racists? what do you want of us? place his grave in england so that you'll be happy? so that we wont be racists?

I can see that the one who is a racist is the one who wrote this article.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="281" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Nations such as Egypt, Turkey, Lebanon, etc. who had the misfortune of having Islam forced upon them by the sword, need to break free from Arab imperialism in order to regain their own identity and culture. Until they throw off the shackles of Islam, they cannot become free societies where human rights are honored. How can this be done? The oppressed masses must return to their Christian heritage which was stolen from them by wave after wave of Arab armies. Why would anyone entering the 21st century want to continue to believe in a foreign religion that was forced upon his ancestors many centuries ago by violence, slavery, oppression and unjust taxes? It is time to break free from the darkness and ignorance of Islam and enter into the freedom and light of Christianity.[/quote:26117ac6f4]

Uh-hu. So now their speaking for us huh? More preaching words with no facts, proofs, and anything that could be taken to discuss with. This is all just speculations made by racists that cant say anything except, "Islam is bad, believe me, Islam is bad! They eat little children and sleep with their cats!" And when we try and look for verses that speak of what they say, proofs, historical facts or anything that we might concider as somethng debatebale other than that non-sense, we find non in chick.com.

sad to see people actualy believeing that crap, shows how empty you are in your heads.

I've realy gotten bored of this nonsence, I believe anyway that those 2 articles which I have disproved is more than enough to show you that chick.com is lieing to you in your face and only stupid idiots would take such lies into your hearts without seconding it or checking its truthfulness from other sources.

If You Have No Shame - Do Whatever You Wish
Posted by: Muslimah - 05-31-2003, 09:08 PM - Forum: Islam - Replies (1)

by Sheikh Salim Morgan

From Ibn Masood (ra) who said that the

Prophet (sas) said: "Among that which

reached the people from the words of the

earlier prophethood: If you feel no shame,

then do whatever you wish." (Bukhari)

The Prophet (sas) informed us that this statement was part of one of the previously communicated teachings from Allah and that it was passed around among the peoples until it reached the beginning of this nation. Another version of this hadith starts out: "Nothing has reached the

people from the words of the previous prophethoods

except this..."

In any case, NOTHING which is allegedly from the

previous revelations can be trusted or said to contain truth or wisdom unless it is specifically confirmed by Allah's final communication to mankind, the one sent to Muhammad (sas) and the ONLY one which is preserved intact.

The meaning of these words can go two ways:

First Meaning:

The meaning is NOT an order to "do whatever you wish" which is the apparent meaning of the words, rather its meaning is condemnation or prohibition of that. Within this possible linguistic construction, there are two possible meanings:

1.That it constitutes a threat and a warning. Thus the meaning is: If you have no shame, then do whatever you wish and Allah will repay it fully and appropriately. Allah said:

{Those who deviate from truth

regarding our signs are not hidden

from us. Is the one thrown into the

fire better or the one who comes as

a believer on Qiyama? Do

whatever you wish for He surely

sees all that you do.}

{So worship whatever you like

beside Allah. Say, the losers are

those who lose themselves and

their families on Qiyama. Verily,

that is the clearest of losses.}

2.That it constitutes and informational statement. Thus the meaning would be: Whoever feels no shame will do whatever they wish, for that which prevents the commission of evil is shame and whoever has no shame will descend into all manner of obscenity and sin. This concept of an order which only means information is similar to the Prophet's (sas) statement: "Whoever knowingly lied about me, let him prepare himself for his place in the fire."

Shame is part of belief (iman).

From Abu Huraira from the Prophet

(sas) who said: "Faith is some seventy

odd parts and shame is one of the parts

of faith."

Ashajj ibn 'Asar said: Allah's Messenger

(sas) said to me, "You have two

attributes which Allah loves." I said,

"And what are they." He (sas) said:

"Maturity and shame." I said, "Have

they been with me since long ago or just

recently?" He (sas) said: "Since long

ago." I said, "Praise be to Allah who put

in my nature two attributes which He

loves."

There are two kinds of shame:

1.That which is innate and of the nature of the person.

Al-Jarraah ibn Abdullah Al-Hakamiy said: "I stayed away from sins out of shame for forty years and only after that I acquired some piety."

2.That which is acquired and part of a change one makes in themself for Allah.

From Abdullah ibn Mas'ood who said

that Allah's messenger (sas) said:

"Have shame before Allah as is

befitting." We said: "O Allah's

Messenger, we do have shame praise

be to Allah." He (sas) said: "Notthat,

rather having shame before Allah as is

befitting is to guard your head and

what it contains, your stomach and

what it takes in, to remember death

and disintegration and whoever desires

the hereafter leaves the ornamentation

of this world. Whoever does all that

has shame before Allah as is befitting.

(At-Tirmidhi said we only know this

hadith from this chain. It may be of

the words of Ibn Mas'ood and not

authenticated all the way to the

Prophet (sas)).

The Second Meaning

Another way of understanding this hadith is that the command to "do whatever you wish" is just that - an order. Under this contruction, the meaning is: "If that which you intend or desire to do is not something the doing of which causes shame - before Allah or before people - because it is of the good deeds, obedience, good character and good manners, then go ahead and do it."

Along these lines, some of the salaf said when asked about [muroo'a] (good and noble character), they answered:

That you should never do in secret that which would cause you shame in public.

From Abi Tamima Al-Hujaimiy from a

man from his people who said: "I met

Allah's Messenger (sas) on one of the

roads of Al-Madinah ... and I said to him

'Upon you be peace O Messenger of

Allah'. He (sas) said to me 'Upon you be

peace is the greeting of the dead. Upon

you be peace is the greeting of the dead.

Upon you be peace is the greeting of the

dead. Peace be upon you. Peace be

upon you', two or three times like that ...

Then I asked him about Al-Ma'roof

(good deeds) and he (sas) said:

"Do not belittle any good deeds. Even if

it is giving a piece of rope, giving a

shoelace, pouring water from your cup

into the container of one seeking water,

removing something harmful from the

road or path, to meet your brother with a

friendly face, to greet him with salaam,

to give companionship to the lonely and

even if someone speakes ill of you with

something that he knows to be true about

you and you likewise know it to be true

of him, do not speak ill of him so his

reward will be yours and his sin will be

upon him. And, that which your ears

would be pleased to hear (i.e., people

mentioning it about you), do it and that

which your ears would not like to hear,

stay away from it.

Whenever Islam defines a term, the Islamic definition supercedes and modifies and changes whatever the word meant among the people before that.

From Ishaq, who is ibn Suwaid, that Aba

Qatadah reported that: we were in the

presence of 'Imraan ibn Husain and a

group of us and among us was Bushair

ibn Ka'ab. 'Imraan narrated to us that

day saying: Allah's Messenger (sas)

said: "Shame is good - all of it." Or, it

was "All shame is good." Whereupon

Bushair ibn Ka'ab said: We find in some

of the books or the wisdom that some of

it is calmness and dignity for Allah's

sake and some of it is weakness. He

(i.e., 'Imraan) became angry until his

eyes became red and he said: "I see

myself narrating to you from Allah's

messenger (sas) and you oppose it?!" ...

Islam Began and Returns Strange

Islam started "strange" and went back to being "strange". Be among the "strangers" who "recitify what the people have corrupted".

From Ibn Umar (ra) that the Prophet

(sas) said: "Verily Islam started out

strange and will return to being strange

just as it started and it will shrink back to

between the two Mosques like a snake

retreating into its hole."

Posted by: Muadib - 05-31-2003, 07:08 PM - Forum: CLUB DES NOUVEAUX MUSULMANS - No Replies

Changes in the Bible

http://www.islamcan.com

It is easy to find many passages in the Bible where Jesus is called

Son of God. One is also able to find a few passages where Jesus calls

himself the Son of God, or where he calls God his father. However, a

careful study of the Bible reveals that this is the result of changes

in the Bible. Jesus never claimed that he is the Son of God.

Each time an older manuscript of the Bible is discovered, many

changes are required in the Bible to bring it in line with the

ancient manuscripts. Mark 1:1 reads as follows:

"The beginning of the Gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God.b"

(Mark 1:1, New International Version).

At the end of that verse, there is a small letter directing us to

look at the footnote at the bottom of the page. There we find that

some manuscripts do not have "the Son of God." And those were

ancient, reliable manuscripts. The evidence was so compelling that

the editors of one Bible just simply removed the title Son of God

from the verse altogether. Thus in the New World Translation of the

Holy Scriptures the verse reads:

"The beginning of the good news about Jesus Christ" (Mark

1:1).

The title `Son of God' is no longer in that verse.

Another such change had to be made in the Acts of the Apostles 8:37

in every honest translation of the Bible prepared in this century.

Evidence from old manuscripts demanded that the verse be removed from

all present Bibles. If you go to your New International Version Bible

and look for Acts 8:37 you will not find it in the text. You will

find verse number 36, and then verse 38, but not 37. If you wish to

know what verse 37 used to say, you need to check the footnote at the

bottom of the page. This verse used to contain a confession that

Jesus is the Son of God. It had to be removed because its absence

from the most ancient manuscripts meant that someone added it to the

later manuscripts.[/color:c7ae04a2cc]<span>[/size:c7ae04a2cc] </span>

Posted by: Muslimah - 05-31-2003, 04:05 PM - Forum: منتدى المقالات باللغة العربية - No Replies
