THE OTHER SIDE OF JUSTICE
by Mohamed Benaouda
The dangerous practicing Muslim that was caught in the act when falling down on his forehead in a corner of the mosque on the planet Upsidedown was immediately arrested and after a terrible stay in jail - just for such dangerous creatures, was brought before justice.
The judge: 'What is your name'?
- 'Abdullah'.
The judge: 'You are accused to belong to a group of dangerous people. What is you practices'?
- 'Our practices is to believe that for this world there is only one God, Allah, to believe that He at His service has angels, to believe and follow a Holy Book, the Qur'an, to believe that there have been other holy books with the same message before it, to believe that there have been prophets to follow and see as an example, to believe in fate, good and bad, to believe that after this life there will come a judgement when the deeds of people on earth will be judged so that they will end up in paradise of hell.'
The judge: 'What does the Qur'an teach you'?
- 'To speak the truth and be honest'.
'Who doth greater wrong than one who invents falsehood against Allah, even as he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not those who do wrong.' 61:7.
- 'To be helpful and kind'.
'Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near, neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious'. 4:36
- To be generous and forgiving'.
'Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good'. 3:134
-To be patient'.
'O ye who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear Allah; that ye may prosper.' 3:200
- 'To allow the good and forbid the evil.'
'Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.' 3:110
- 'To not decieve or steal'.
'And come not nigh to the orphan's property, except to improve it, until he attain the age of full strength; give measure and weight with (full) justice;- no burden do We place on any soul, but that which it can bear;- whenever ye speak, speak justly, even if a near relative is concerned; and fulfil the covenant of Allah: thus doth He command you, that ye may remember.' 6:152
- 'To not kill.'
'Never should a believer kill a believer;' 4:92
- 'To not steal or bribe'.
'And do not eat up your property among yourselves for vanities, nor use it as bait for the judges, with intent that ye may eat up wrongfully and knowingly a little of (other) people's property'. 2:188
The judge: 'I see that you have a beard. Can you explain why'?
- 'Being a doctor I have learned that it grows automatically due to a hormon.'
The judge: 'Our security police has been tailing you for a couple of days and they did see that you go to the mosque five times a day. What secret meetings is it that you are holding there?'
- 'We meet in the mosque to pray to Allah to protect us, to give us good health, and ask for His forgiveness.'
The judge: 'It has been reported for me that your wife takes a rag on her head and not much is seen of her body. What kind of privitism is this?'
- 'Neither I nor she has sawn the clothes, we did buy them from big and wellknown shops. Besides she believes that her personality shall be identified with her qualifications and not with how she looks.'
The judge: 'What plans do you have for this planet'?
- 'To strain to live as good citizens and follow the prinicpal of the Qur'an.'
The judge: 'What is your goal'?
- 'That all shall be able to live in peace, in coexistence and mutual understanding, freedom to believe and follow their conviction, expression of freedom, that everyone shall respect each others rights.'
After the judge listened to the accused he gave his verdict.
The judge: 'I find you guilty and I sentence you to death since you do not belong to this planet.'
Another suspect that was sitting waiting to be sentenced to the same fate said:
- 'Judge I have thought things over and now I want to confess.
My name is Nothing and my ancestors were monkeys. I have no prinicples and don't worry about my beard, I will be castrated and treated with hormones so it will never grow out again. When it concerns my plans, goals and dreams, I have none, I have forgotten them. Moral and ethic is only a joke, the belief that we exist and creating is a lie. The Qur'an and the old holy books are invented and God is a figur in Hollywood. (astharfirullah) Struggle for power and war is the funniest hobby, racism and class distinction is the ground for justice, abuse is a pleasure. Oh I am sorry, when it concerns my wife I will register her as a common use. Before when she was not free, there were no men that dared to flirt with her or that were able to enjoy looking at her in the street nor at work. Imagine that it is only today that womens liberation means to do exactly as the men wants. She will dress exactly as the men wants and work on the conditions given by men.
How would she be able to write, answer the phone, investigate, teach, or speak to customers if she has a veil on her head and a long shirt and skirt? Besides in such a society where women has not been given the right freedom one has not been able to register many cases of rape or sex harassments at work or splittering of families.
I agree with you. Why not reject everything that says that we are and that we think when there are others that can decide if we are to be or what to think.
By the way before I leave, What do you want me to eat today and what do you want my wife ot wear today?'
The judge: 'I find you guilty and sentence you to death because you know to much.'

Islamic Battles Fought During Ramadhaan |

Month of Ramadhaan is a month of victory and seeking Allah's forgiveness. It is a month where all other books revealed by Allah SWT were revealed.
There were a number significant battles during the month of Ramadan in which Allah granted victory to Islam and Muslims. "The great battle of Badr, which took place in the month of Ramadan, was the first battle between believers and infidels. The Muslims demonstrated rare heroism, setting their souls on the points of their lances and preferring martyrdom to remaining alive. Allah gave them a mighty victory for Islam. In The Battle of the Ditch, the Muslims trained for this battle [during Ramadan], even though it [actually] occurred in the month of Shawal, which comes after Ramadan. The conquest of Mecca in the battle of Badr, where the Prophet Mohammed fought against the infidels, took place on 17 Ramadan, 624 AD. The battle of Tabouk, also took place in the month of Ramadan. In this battle the soldiers of Islam, under the leadership of the Messenger of Allah, established in Tabouk a training and fighting camp during the month of fasting, so as to show the strength of the Muslims in the clash with the Byzantine army. The Muslims conquered Rhodes during the month of Ramadan. During the month of Ramadan a great Muslim victory was won over the Crusaders under the leadership of Salah Al-Din [saladin] Al-Ayubi. His advisors counseled him to rest from the Jihad during the month of fasting, but Saladin insisted on continuing the Jihad during Ramadan.

Does Every Muslim Follow This? |

1. defending Muslim land is a religious duty: part of the responsibilities we assume
during our transit stop. So if it was Christian or Jewish duty to protect that same land you'd understand why they kill your children? If it's just a stop why is the land so important? Shouldn't the life you've been given be more important than a peice of land? Sounds like material things being put over top of life.
2. We are commanded not to stand still in face of aggression against Muslims, so standing still is violating our duties. You want to believe this. Quote me the chapter on this please. Where were the rest of the Muslims when Saddam invaded Kuwait, Iran, was killing Kurds. Funny, I don't remember any terrorist acts against Saddam.
3. It does not bother me when non muslims dont realize the fact about the transit stop. We dont go around pushing people to adopt our beliefs, only when they seek knowledge we respond. One word; Taliban. Your buddies seemed intent on making sure they killed anyone who didn't believe.
4. When a Muslim falls short in this point, I certrainly have to grow concerned, also as part of my duty.
5. Most important is that during this transit stop we are bound by a set of rules and regulations made by ALLAH, we must not again must not overlook them. Simply because following the rules ensures our safety. Like for instance that we must abide by immigration rules in any given country or else we are in trouble.
And if someone doesn't follow them Allah won't enforce them you will right?
6. Issue of Palestine is also settled in Quran, what is happening is actually all included in Quran. There will be a major war among Muslims and jews according to Quran to take back what they stole. That is it Peace.
I can respect this answer. You think a major war is coming to settle this. So what's there to worry about? Why ever get angry about the Jews? You know you're going to win! You've said it yourself. You should be having pity on the Jews. You know their fate.
7. Jews living there are settlers brought from evey where on organized trips......and mostly receive military training. peace it is a long issue that would be settled by Allah, as mentioned in Quran. Even them being gathered in one place is a sing for the closeness of this war. See we know all this from our book. Alhamdulelah. We dont force events.
So much for free will.

Description Of Death |

Bismillah
"Wheresoever you may be, death will overtake you even if you are in fortresses built up strong and high!" (Qur'an 4:78)
It is reported that al Bara bin Azib said: "We went out with the Prophet in order to participate in the funeral rites of a man from the Ansar (a group of people from among the Campanions of the Prophet). We arrived at the grave, but the inner chamber had not been prepared yet; so Allah's Messenger sat down facing the direction of the Qiblah, and we sat around him so attentively it was as if the birds were sitting on our heads.
He had a stick in his hand with which he sketched upon the ground. Then he began looking alternately to the heavens and the earth, razing his gaze and then lowering it. Finally, he said two or three times: 'Seek refuge in Allah from the torment of the grave.' Then he said: 'O Allah, verily I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave.' He repeated it three times, then he elaborated:
'Verily, when the believing servant is leaving this world and entering the next, angels from the heavens descend to him-their faces white with brightness like the sun and carrying with them burial sheets and scents from Paradise. They sit before him at a distance as far as the eye can see.
Then the Angel of Death comes to the person, sits at his head and says: 'O good soul, come out to you Lord's forgiveness and pleasure.' Thereupon, the soul flows out of the body like water flowing from the mouth of a waterskin, and all of the angels between the sky and earth supplicate for Allah's blessing upon him. The doors of heaven are opened for him, and the keepers of these doors all plead with Allah that this soul might pass in front of them as it is being carried upward. The Angel of Death barely recieves the soul in his hands, whereupon the other angels take it from him and wrap it with fragrant winding sheets. This is what is meant by Allah's saying: 'Our messengers seize his soul, and they do not fall short of their duty.'

Question Reqarding Palestine |

Does the fact that both Muslims and Jews view some of the land in the area as holy make it impossible to share or is it possible for the two to co-exist?
Can Palestine not exist as a country as it is right now? By that I mean could lines be drawn up that says this is the country of Palestine? I'm assuming no because of the rights some feel they have to the land that the Jews currently control so some or most wouldn't agree to this, but is there any other choice. A few bombings now and then don't seem to be enough to make the Jews give the land up.
In a nut shell what is it exactly the Palestinians are fighting for?
Any info is appreciated.
