... حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي هِشَامٌ، الْقُرْدُوسِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ <b>تَلَقَّوُا</b> <b>الْجَلَبَ</b> ‏.‏ فَمَنْ تَلَقَّاهُ فَاشْتَرَى مِنْهُ فَإِذَا أَتَى سَيِّدُهُ السُّوقَ فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ‏"‏ ‏.‏ ...



Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Do not meet the merchant in the way and enter into business transaction with him, and whoever meets him and buys from him (and in case it is done, see) that when the owner of (merchandise) comes into the market (and finds that he has been paid less price) he has the option (to declare the transaction null and void).

Assalam alaikum,

As you are aware, Tawheed [the knowledge and belief in the Oneness of Allah as our Creator and Sustainer of the Universe] is one of the 5 pillaars of Islam, the other 4 being Five daily Prayers, Zakkat, Fasting during the month of Ramadan and the Hajj. Tawheed also involves our Knowing..believing that Allah ( the ONLY BEING worthy of Worship) has Names and Attributes that transcend anything we can imagine...as indicated in chapter 112 of the Holy Qur'an--Surat Ikhlas.

For our Tawheed to be sound, we must be mindful and/or observe the following essentials, namely:--

1. To keep obligations in accordance with the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah.

2. To always speak the Truth.

3. To keep the heart free from hatred.

4. To avoid forbidden food.

5. To shun innovations in religion, and

6. To be satisfied with Allah Most High in scarcity and plenty, and turn to Him, Exalted is He, in happiness or affliction...

The Noble Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless and grant him peace, said:--

"A Muslim has 6 Rights over another Muslim. They (his companions) asked:

What are they, O Messenger of Allah? He said:

When you meet him, greet him with peace.

When he invites you, accept his invitation.

When he seeks your advice, advise him.

When he sneezes and then praises Allah, invoke Allah's blessings upon him.

When he falls ill, visit him.

When he dies, follow his funeral". (Sahih Muslim-2162)

We should, therefore, mind these Rights...observe them amongst us, Muslim Brothers and Sisters, for durable Brotherhood accordingly.

Assalam alaikum,

The gift of Imaan (faith) is a very precious gift to us, Muslims, from our Lord and Creator, Allahu Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. As you are aware, Imaan tends to fade and/or rust sometimes...so, we have to polish it and increase it. How do we do that? one may ask.
