Bismillah:
Salam CC.
Are you ignoring my question in response to your explanation about Trinity (i.e if you as a man told your wife a secret, will you as a father and as a son know that secret as well or not?) or you did not see this question at all?
Will you as a man, son and father know ANYTHING said by any of those 3 persons or no??

I was browsing through wikipedia, and read the piece on Mecca
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mecca#Non-M..._and_Mecca
In a way I shouldn't be surprised that non-muslims aren't allowed in, but then again I would have thought it would also be in the interests of Islam to let others see it. If the effect, that Muslims who visit there claim it has, is so great, then shouldn't chance that such a visit could help convert a non-muslim be jumped at? Also there is the definition of who should see it. Obviously I don't know the basis of this law, but if it refers to non-believers, then should that mean only muslims? And what of people that wouldn't call themselves muslims, but do believe in God/Allah, and that Mohammed was a prophet?
Also what do you think of the number of high rise hotels that seem to surround it? Even as a non-muslim, I find it crass and offensive that someone should be able to roll out of bed and look out on such a holy place from his bedroom window. Not only that, but I would suspect that the hotel will be charging extra for such rooms. Making money directly out of the Ka'bah in such a way just seems plain wrong.

Bible Prophecy about Islam. |

Bismillah:
this is for our Christians guests on this board to ponder.
In Deuteronomy 33:2, we see Moses peace be upon him predicting that GOD Almighty will execute His Holy Judgement in the city of Paran by 10,000 of Believers:
"And he said, The LORD came from Si'-nai, and rose up from Se'-ir unto them; he shined forth from mount Pa'-ran [Mecca in Arabic], and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
(From the King James Version Bible, Deuteronomy 33:2)"
We also read about the same prophecy by Prophet Enoch peace be upon him:
"And Enoch
[idris in Arabic, one of Allah Almighty's Prophets peace be upon all of them to the people of Israel.] also, the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
(Jude 1:14-15)"
Now, according to the Islamic history, the city of Mecca (Paran) was liberated by Prophet Muhammad's 10,000-men army.
Now, since these prophecies were foretold in the Bible's Old Testament, I would like for any Christian to answer the following question for me:
Where in the Bible do we see any Prophet executing the Judgement of GOD Almighty specifically in the city of Paran (Mecca, the city that Abraham took Hagar and Ishmael to)?
If Muhammad who liberated the city of Paran (Mecca) with 10,000 Believing Men (Saints) wasn't the one who fulfilled this Biblical Prophecy, then who was that Prophet?
Wasn't Muhammad through the Divine Religion of Islam the one who ended the idol worshiping of the 365 gods, and ended the brutal slavery and the torturing of women (burying daughters alive at the age of 4 was the pagan Arabs custom)?
Didn't Muhammad bring the Arabs from the total darkness of polytheism and evil to the Light of Worshiping the One True Living GOD Almighty and associated no partners with Him?
Wasn't Muhammad fruitful, and a true man of GOD Almighty?
Salam
Wael.

Marines cheer song about killing Iraqi civilians |

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 6/12/06) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today called on the Pentagon and Congress to investigate a music video posted on the Internet that seems to show U.S. Marines cheering a song that glorifies the killing of Iraqi civilians.
CAIR said the four-minute video, called "hadji girl," purports to be a "marine in iraq singing a song about hadji." (A "Hajji" is a person who has made the Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, but the term has often been used as a pejorative by U.S. troops in Iraq.) The song, posted online in March, tells of a U.S. Marine's encounter with an Iraqi woman. It has been viewed by almost 50,000 people.
The song's lyrics include: "I grabbed her little sister and put her in front of me. As the bullets began to fly, the blood sprayed from between her eyes, and then I laughed maniacally. . .I blew those little f**kers to eternity . . .They should have known they were f**king with the Marines." Members of the audience, not shown in the video, laughed and cheered wildly for these lyrics.

Comments apparently posted by other military personnel express approval for the song's contents. One comment states: "This makes me happy to be a Marine. But look out! Here comes the rest of the country to call us evil!" Other comments criticize the video as racist.
"Given the recent allegations that U.S. Marines massacred Iraqi civilians in Haditha and other areas, we need to determine if this video is what it purports to be," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. "The inappropriate actions of a few individuals should not be allowed to tarnish the reputation of all American military personnel."
Awad called on Pentagon officials and members of Congress to investigate the video and all other allegations of such conduct in Iraq.

Sunni or Shia? |

Don't mean to open a can of worms here but I am "curious."
What is the difference betweent Sunni and Shia?
Are there theological differences in what they believe about Islam?
Why don't they get along?
Are all Muslims either Sunni or Shia (does a Muslim have to be one or the other?)?
Which are you? And why?

as salam alykom
We agree that worship rituals are there for us to connect with God.
As I understand that the communion, is an important part of the Christian rituals, is when the worshiper drinks wine and eats certain type of baked bread symbolizing the blood and flesh of Jesus, inst this correct?
Waiting for the reply
