Very ture and correct alliex certainly better to believe in Allah as One Deity. This is actually the true essence of Islam, from here u can go. From here u will be able to submit to Allah and pray, fast...etc.

Assalmu alliekum dear sister,

I never really understood the trinity and I don't think many christians understand either. Apparantly you have to think about it like it is an egg. God is the shell, Jesus is the white bit and the spirt is the yolk. What evere, it is easier to beleive in just ALLAH isn't it?

Alhamdulelah Alliex that things cleared up.

Yes they do believe God consists of 3 parts in some way and that is how they worship him.

Assalam alliekum dear sisters,

I am so sorry it has taken me a while to reply to this post. But after getting rid of one cold I got sick again.

I read all the post. I read some of the responses in the Qur'an. I never really thought Christians beleived in the trinity even though I was a christian. But I hear catholics pray to their saints. Which I don't understand why they do it as in there ten commendments it says do not worship any idols.

It clears a lot of mis conceptions I had.

Thanks gals

It is always good to ask questions, we live our lives to learn, and how can one learn without asking questions no matter how it appears to u as ridiculous. Just ask them.

Mash aAllah Umm picked up a relevant thread and I will add 2 more:

http://www.islamsms.com/bb//index.php?sh...c=2490&hl=

However, before u delve into the 2 long threads I must tell u ahead I want to give u a brief explanation to something important.

Christians and Jews dont belive in God the way they must believe. Essence of Islam is to believe in the Oneness of Allah. He is not 3, He Is not made of 3 parts into One. He Didn't beget anyone neither He was begotten. He Is Eternal, never a part of Allah died. This is the true Islam and this is how we should believe in Allah.

Is this how Christians and Jews believe in God?

One more item, Paradaise and Hell have many names in Quran the most known of them are Jannah and Juhanum.

Well start your day by delving into the threads and Insh aAllah as Umm said we will talk. Enjoy yourself Alliex
