Assalam alaikum, A certain Shaykh once said that "There are four (4) kinds of thought: form God, from an Angel, from Self and from the Devil. The thought which is from God is an admonition; that from an angel an urge to Obedience; that from the Self the quest of lust; from the devil the bedizenment of disobedience". -- Mind those thoughts that come over to you, and gauge them accordingly.
