Sorry I did not mean to argue about the time or anything like that... just wanted to point out that it was timeless... The rest of my comment was general information. Sorry I did not word it properly P.S: Sister Muslimah, I replied to your comment in a PM... didn't want to go off topic here |

Bismillah It is ture the story is a reminder that applies all the time, Umm was trying to find the source probably for quotation reasons not to argue about the time per se. |

I don't think the time of the story is an issue here... This is one of the timeless stories... and it truly shows how Shaitaan works. That is why Allah says in The Holy Qur'an "and follow not the footsteps of Shaitan" in a few different places. The keyword there is "footsteps", rather than just saying "Don't follow Shaitaan" or something like that. |

Bismillah as salam alykom Sobhan Allah intuition what made u post this today, I was just thinking about this story last evening and wanting to post it. Mash a Allah jazaki Allah khairan katheeran shaytan always stands for those who are trying to act as pious as possible, since otherwise if the person is not then he/she is a shaytan from mankind no need to bother with them. But the one who is striving is really vlunerable and usually hit. May Allah Protect us all |
