Sobhan Allah Khadija true no one can stop death at the assigned time. No one can tell death no thank u come back later. And at that time there is no more chance to correct whatever. Just like Allah: <b>"And if you only could see when the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) shall hang their heads before their Lord (saying): "Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back (to the world), we will do righteous good deeds. Verily! We now believe with certainty." (Quran 32:12) </b> <b>"Therein they will cry: "Our Lord! Bring us out, we shall do righteous good deeds, not (the evil deeds) that we used to do." (Allah will reply): "Did We not give you lives long enough, so that whosoever would receive admonition, - could receive it? And the warner came to you. So taste you (the evil of your deeds). For the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) there is no helper." (Quran 35:37) </b> |

And Insh a Allah will do that in simple English language no quotation of hadeeth or Quran for u to understand the whole process and situation. So stay tune..... Insh aAllah will be back |

No worries. I don't see death as a depressing thing either. What a coincidence! My take is a little different (well, a lot different) than the traditional Muslim belief though. I don't really believe in death. Nor birth for that matter. I mean, I was never really born. I was a foetus, which was an embryo, which was an egg, which was created when my mother was a foetus, etc. So when I die, I won't really die. I will rot and become eaten by worms and such, thus feeding them and giving them strength to make new life, which will repeate until the United States destroys the earth with nuclear weapons ;-) Ok, so the United States thing was a joke (a dark joke at that), but the rest is basically true. It's a very buddhist perspective. If someone wouldn't mind, could you explain (in stupid American speak) the fundamental Muslim belief in death? Or provide me with a link if the basics have already been covered on thie forum? Jolly good then. Cheerio! |

It would wreck my image!" - Jack Lelanne. Always there for the one-liners. PII if u r trying to follow the footstepts of JD I dont see this is funny. U may of course learn specially in this room there will be much to learn. Just read from the beginning of the thread rather than wasting your time trying to copy someone who is not here anymore. Hope u r still in touch with him thru email, may be u can benefit one another. </div></blockquote> Who's JD? Was he a Jack Le Lanne fan? I'm confused. I posted this because it happened to pop into my head while reading this threat. I read it in a recent Esquire interview. Anyway, just trying to add some light-hearted humor to what is usually otherwise a depressing topic. |
